Why I Love FCA!

The other day I had someone stop me in the middle of the conversation we were having. I really had no idea that I was doing it, but throughout the course of the conversation, I had mentioned or referred to FCA numerous times. This person stopped and asked, "What is this FCA you keep talking about?" I explained that we work with coaches, student-athletes, and communities to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That is when they had their 'A-Ha' moment and I was able to continue our conversation.

Then, out of nowhere, they asked me, "Why do you love FCA so much?" I paused. I began to think about that question. Was it all the coaches, athletes, people of influence throughout the different communities that made me love FCA? Was it the ability to meet professional athletes and college athletes along the way? Much to my surprise, that answer was NO! I came to the conclusion that I love FCA because God is allowing me to use the talents, abilities, knowledge and my interests in His ultimate masterpiece. I am able to lead people to become Christ followers without any regrets and do it through the avenue of athletics.

I guess the main thing is this...focus on the main thing that God has given you to do...and do it!
